Carer’s Allowance overpayments
You do not currently need to contact the Carers Allowance Unit if you think you’ve been affected by the Independent Review of Carer’s Allowance Overpayments.
Information about how overpayments will be reassessed will be published in early 2026. In most cases, DWP will contact you if you’ve been affected.
